LG has finally unveiled its first Firefox OS-based smartphone, the LG Fireweb.The main feature in fireweb is it is coming with a new mobile operating system Firefox.We know Firefox is one of the major web browser to surf the internet.Now it is trying to get into the mobile platform just like it's competitor Google whose OS is well known to us The-Android.

The smartphone has been launched in partnership with Brazilian telecom carrier, Telefonica and is currently only available in Brazil which costs around 449 BRL(Brazilian Real),indian price according to this will be Rs 12,700

Firefox:Makes A Difference

The Major difference between the Firefox OS and other OS is it's API.As i mentioned in a post Firefox OS is one of the 6 upcoming technologies that can change our life it really is because it is a phone which fully packed with FREEDOM,user can customize the things in OS according to their wish and has no restrictions at all.Hence i think it will give a tough competition to other Mobile Operating Systems.

Now-a-days it is hard to burn operating systems in a Compact-Discs,although if we burn the OS in Compact-Discs we get a problem of missing file errors if a scratch occurs on Compact-Disc.I myself find very difficult to use compact-discs for operating system installation.

To solve this problem i searched through the internet and i founded best solution for this problem i.e..., "Booting Through U.S.B".Rufus is a best software which can burn Operating System in USB and boot or format through USB,although internet have many applications Rufus is the best I've ever founded due to these reasons.It can burn OS from .iso format

Windows 8.1 hits the market on October 17 and it has many profound changes than windows 8 and revivals of some old functions.Though it has many changes but i found 5 significant features than windows 8.

START BUTTON:BACK WITH THE BANG

The first change i observed in windows 8.1 is the START BUTTON,many users finds difficult in usage of windows 8 because of the reason of missing start button.We know the legacy of start button as it is present right from the starting.Taking this into consideration windows changed the 8.1 with new square start button.Windows 8.1 sees the return of the Start Button, allowing users to transition between the Start Screen and Desktop mode.

To organize the tasks of windows 8.1, Microsoft brought in the snap view.When user click click on a link in an open application,the task which is already running snap to a side of a screen to give space for the present task clicked by the user.Depending upon device user can open 5-10 apps running in snap view.User can adjust size of the each owned application.

In windows 8.1 now the search will become more enhanced we can see the files in device as well as the result of that files in internet through bing.This is called Omnisearch.

Windows 8.1 comes with more advanced options in skydrive which make easy to user to upload the file in skydrive and also to sync files between skydrive and system.This picking and choosing allows for improved memory management, whereas the original version of Windows 8 pulled down the SkyDrive's entire storage contents.

The Tiles in windows 8.1 has changed the tiles quality as well as the size from rectangular tile to a big square tiles

Buster Sandbox Analyzer is a tools which can be used to find or analyze the behavior of processes and changes made to system and then evaluate if they are malware suspicious.In a short term it is used for malware testing to detect whether Program is Backdoored with RATS,DDOS,BOTS,KEYLOGGERS.

Working Of  BSA:

BSA detect the file changes occurs in a system and report them to the user.A file system change happens when a file is created, deleted or modified. 

Depending of what type of file has been created (executable, library, javascript, batch, etc) and where was created (what folder) we will be able to get valuable information in the form of report where user can get to an idea whether the program is infected or not.

SPUTNIK:SEARCH ENGINE

A part from the history,here the sputnik refers to the new search engine designed by Russia.State-controlled telecoms group Rostelecom plans an Internet search engine named after the Sputnik satellite,Russian government has made move to gain the maximum control over the internet,but a state-backed search engine, to be called www.sputnik.ru would face a severe competition from leading search engine YANDEX which gains 62 percent share market and mostly from U.S web based searching giant GOOGLE.

                                        The new search engine may have to be used by state institutions as a default tool, said Vedomosti, citing sources at Rostelecom and other Internet companies in its report. It has been saying the project had cost $20 million so far.They are trying to hire the devolopers from rivals to work on the search engine project,The project has so far indexed about half of the Russian Internet.

                                "The project may be succeed or not,but i am sure that sputnik takes large amount of time in-order to match with the leading search engine YANDEX and U.S based searching giant GOOGLE"

Detecting Man-In-Middle And Sniffers In The Network

Man-In-The-Middle:

The classic Man-in-the-Middle attack relies on convincing two hosts that the computer in the middle is the other host.This can be accomplished with a domain name spoof if the system is using DNS to identify the other host or address resolution protocol(ARP) spoofing on the LAN.Man-In-The-Middle(MITM) attack  is one of the primary  techniques in computer based hacking.MITM attack can successfully invoke attacks such as Denial of service, DNS spoofing and Port stealing.

MITM can do the things such as, stealing online account user  id, password, stealing of local ftp id, or telnet session etc.  

Process to Detecting Man-In-Middle And Sniffers In The Network:

Process-1:

To detect Mitm and sniffers in network the only way is to observe that the connection is equipped with SSL layer.In Practical we should observe the lock symbol in address bar i.e the https connection

If the lock symbol or https is not present in secured server connection such as bank,social networks,etc..., is not present then the connection is in attack. Don't confirm this because we have another test to assure our connection is 100% sniffed

Process-2:

We can detect sniffing in network by using ping command ping the website in command prompt which you think is under sniffing

1)Go to cmd

2)ping the website in command prompt which you think is under sniffing

Ex:ping www.facebook.com

3)It should return the original ip address of the Facebook.

4)If it returns another ip,then the connection is said to be in attack and that ip address is the intruders's ip
